Who is ShearForce Equipment
ShearForce Equipment is the hydraulic attachment division of West Coast Machinery Inc. Along with our service truck division, Work Truck West, we continue to uphold the West Coast Machinery promise — to provide our customers with Specialized Support for Specialized Equipment.
Our Story
Established in 1973, West Coast Machinery takes great pride in our history and our reputation. With four locations in Langley, BC, Airdrie, AB, Leduc, AB, and Strathroy, Ontario, ShearForce Equipment will continue to uphold this high standard of excellence moving into the future. Our goal is simple — to seek out the best of the best and make it available to you. Our top suppliers include LaBounty, Xcentric, Shearex, Gilbert, Rammer, Stanley, and Simex. We’ve also introduced our own ShearForce branded hammers, shears, rotating/fixed pulverizers, grapples, static rippers, magnets, post drivers, compactors, and mowers that offer power and durability. In our never-ending search for high-productivity attachments, we’ve also added hydraulic rippers and crusher buckets to our inventory. To better support the utilization of our specialized attachments, we’ve included ready-to-work rental excavator packages. All our hydraulic attachments are available for rent allowing our customers to take on more specialized short-term projects without the full cost of ownership.

Our Facilities
ShearForce Equipment moved into its new state-of-the-art facility in the heart of BC’s Fraser Valley in the summer of 2017. In 2019, we opened our first Alberta office branch in the heart of Airdrie, Alberta. Two months later, we set up a third location in Nisku, Alberta, and then moved from this location to a bigger facility in Leduc, Alberta. We recently acquired a new location in Strathroy, Ontario to continue to meet your needs across Canada.

The experienced management team, knowledgeable sales staff, and expert service technicians are all working together for you to ensure that every customer’s unique needs are met. Ours is a young, motivated team with an excellent grasp of the operational requirements. Along with hard work and dedication, they bring with them valued experience in the industry.
